To expand Bhutan’s tourism market and highlight the country as a premier travel destination, the tourism department will host the Bhutan International Travel Mart, or BITM, this June. The event will bring together hotels and travel agencies among others to showcase their products and services to potential international partners. To support this, a website for registration and proper facilitation of the event has been launched.

5⭐ Unforgettable Bhutan Adventure with Bhutan Unshakable Tours and Treks!

Thank you Mr. Kinzang, our wonderful guide!

We had a last-minute trip to Bhutan after our original flight was cancelled. Kinzang and the team quickly tailored a perfect itinerary to exactly what we wanted — a more adventurous trip that included horse riding, kayaking, and hiking, along with all the must-see sights. Other companies couldn’t offer us the above activities, but Bhutan Unshakable Tours made it possible. Their responses were prompt via WhatsApp, and they gave us excellent advice on what to prepare before visiting Bhutan.

During the trip, the itinerary was very flexible. They happily added shopping when we wanted, helped us take numerous beautiful photos and videos, and took great care of us by adjusting meal times. We got to enjoy traditional Bhutanese food and heard so many fascinating stories about Bhutan and Buddhism.

We especially loved the kayaking in the beautiful Punakha Valley — the instructors were superb, giving detailed instructions and providing all the equipment. The horseback riding in Phobjikha Valley was another highlight, as was the unique opportunity to witness the monks’ praying ceremony at Lhakhang Karpo.

A huge thank you to Kinzang for accompanying us on all the hikes, especially the memorable Tiger’s Nest hike. He carried all our snacks and even the kira so we could take nice photos at the monastery!

Thank you to Mr. PT for taking us to explore the Haa Valley and sharing his wonderful childhood stories with us.
And special thanks to our driver, Mr. Sonam — a very kind, caring, and nice gentleman. His safe driving, sense of humour, and thoughtful care (always asking how we slept, how our meals were, and how we were enjoying the activities) showed us the hospitality of Bhutanese. He even joined us for dinner in the Haa Valley.

This was truly an unforgettable trip without a single flaw, thanks to Mr. Kinzang, Mr. PT, Driver Sonam, and the entire team at Bhutan Unshakable Tours and Treks. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Bhutan!

As the nation prepares to celebrate His Majesty The King’s 46th Birth Anniversary, His Majesty is in Gelephu, ahead of the 5th round of volunteer (zhabtog) work set to begin tomorrow, alongside important milestones for the Gelephu Mindfulness City.

More than 12,000 people have registered to take part, and many more have come forward without registration. Even so, the programme remains oversubscribed, with thousands awaiting the next opportunity.

In moments like these, we see the true spirit of our nation - a deep well of faith, love, and respect for our beloved Druk Gyalpo. It is His Majesty’s vision, example and unwavering dedication that continue to inspire us to strive for greater purpose, and to build, together, a better tomorrow. 🇧🇹
