The Zhungdraβ€œSunge Khuju Nyoem" beautifully sung by Trongsa Zams following their visit to Sakya Gonpa touched the hearts of everyone deeply in the bus. Having received the profound blessings from numerous sacred relics, including the 84,000 Buddha teachings, Buddha Thongwa Zamling Aezha, and the sacred conch offered to the Buddha by Lord Indra, the song carried an especially profound spiritual resonance.

Originally composed by Ja Truelku, the Zhungdra expresses a deep sense of devotion, longing, and homesickness. One of its powerful messages is that of a cuckoo attempting to fly over the great height of Gambala pass above Yamdro lake, symbolizing the vast distance and the emotional journey of the heart.

Ja Truelku could have composed the song while experiencing deep homesickness. When he saw the willow trees at Norbulingka, he was reminded the memories of home and stirred a profound longing within him. With a pure and devoted heart, he offered a khadar to Lhasa Jowo, expressing his heartfelt devotion and yearning.

The song "Sunge Khuju Nyoem" comes alive not merely as a traditional Zhungdra, but as a deeply moving expression of faith, devotion, sacred blessings, homesickness.
