𝐔𝐫𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🇧🇹

What began as a photography expedition led by Mr. Wu from Hong Kong turned into something far more dangerous… they accidentally fell hopelessly in love with Ura Village. 😄❤️

Between the sacred mask dances, endless laughter, Ara with egg fried (Egg Voka) refills, and aunties feeding them like long-lost grandchildren, our guests received nothing less than a royal Bhutanese treatment.

They came to capture photographs……but ended up capturing memories, friendships, and a few extra kilos from too much ema datshi. 🌶️😂

The team shared with tears in their eyes that Ura is not just one of the oldest villages in Bhutan…….
it is a village with a soul. The people welcomed them with such genuine hospitality, loving kindness, and warmth that saying goodbye felt like leaving family behind. 🥹

One guest jokingly said:“We came for 10 days… but our hearts already applied for permanent residency (PR) in Ura!” 🤣

And before boarding their flight home, they made one heartfelt promise:

“Next year… we are coming back to Ura Bumthang.” ❤️🏔️

Because some places you visit once…and some places quietly steal your heart fore.

🇧🇹 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐁𝐇𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐍… 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 ❤️

Bhutan is not only a place to see with your eyes…It is a place to feel with your heart, hear with your soul, and experience through the beautiful stories of Bhutanese life.

Our lovely guests from Taiwan, Ms. Lisa & Vickey, completely fell in love with Bhutan after wearing the elegant Bhutanese Kira, our traditional royal dress. 👑

At first, they laughed trying to wear it properly…
“So many folds! How do Bhutanese ladies walk so gracefully?” 😂
But once dressed, they stood silently in front of the mirror with tears of joy in their eyes.

They shared:
“The Kira is incredibly beautiful… the colors and patterns feel alive, warm, and peaceful…just like the Bhutanese people.”

In Bhutan, every pattern tells a story.Every color reflects harmony, kindness, happiness, and the colorful spirit of our people living together with peace. 🌸

For a moment, they didn’t feel like tourists anymore…They felt like part of Bhutan. ❤️

And yes… they also agreed:

𝐒𝐮𝐣𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: 𝐔𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.

Ms. Shan & Jessica from Taiwan came to Bhutan thinking they were signing up for a beautiful escape… but Bhutan had other plans.

What started as a journey of culture and landscapes quietly turned into something deeper…a discovery of moments, flavors, and little surprises that stay long after the trip ends.

And then came the real star of the show… Suja (Bhutanese butter tea).

At first sip? Confusion.
Second sip? Suspicion.
Third sip? “Wait… this is actually… GOOD?!” 😄

Before we knew it, they weren’t just trying butter tea… they were falling for it. That rich blend of tea, butter, and a hint of salt, a flavor so unexpected, yet so comforting…slowly worked its magic.

Especially Ms. Shan… who didn’t just enjoy it, she made sure to learn it. Yes, she asked us to teach her how to prepare Suja so she can recreate a little piece of Bhutan back home.
That’s when you know it’s not just a drink anymore… it’s a memory.

It may seem like a small moment…just a cup of tea.
But in reality, it’s something much bigger.

A new taste.
A new skill.
A story to tell.

Because the best souvenirs from Bhutan aren’t things you pack in your suitcase…
They’re the ones you carry in your heart (and sometimes in your teacup ☕😉).

Now Ms. Shan & Jessica will return home not just with photos but with stories, laughter, and maybe a pot of butter tea brewing in Taiwan.

And who knows… their friends and family might soon be saying:
“Wait… butter + tea + salt?? Are you serious?”
…and then asking for a second cup 😆

Inspired by the timeless Dzongs of Bhutan, June Park and his wonderful mom didn’t just visit, they were completely swept off their feet.

What started as a simple tour quickly turned into a full-blown love affair. Every Dzong they stepped into felt like walking inside a living masterpiece…where grand architecture flirts with the clouds, intricate art whispers ancient secrets, and the strategic hilltop locations make you wonder if Bhutanese ancestors were part-time geniuses, part-time superheroes.

Mr. Park and his mom? Absolutely hooked.
At this point, even the Dzongs might be wondering, “Are they coming back again tomorrow?”😄

Beyond the stunning beauty, they found themselves deeply moved, captivated by centuries of history, enchanted by legendary tales, and humbled by the powerful spiritual energy that lingers in every corner.

In short… they came as visitors, but left as devoted fans of Bhutan’s majestic Dzongs…slightly more enlightened, and definitely more in love. 😄.

Ms. Khim & her lovely group from Singapore…the Lion City 🦁…have arrived in Bhutan, the mystical Land of the Thunder Dragon 🐉.

From a fast-paced, first-world city to a tiny Himalayan village (yes… where happiness is bigger than the population 😄), the journey itself was a beautiful contrast…from ocean breezes to mountain whispers.
Different worlds, same heart… and absolutely worth experiencing.

What truly made their journey special?

Bhutan has a quiet way of surprising people… and this trip was full of those little moments 😊

Our guests from Taiwan didn’t just come to see Bhutan…they really got to experience it. Sitting with locals, trying egg fried Ara (with some funny first reactions 😄), and seeing how our traditions are still part of everyday life here.

And then came the highlight…the Takin!

Such a strange and wonderful animal… it honestly looks like it doesn’t belong to just one species. The reactions were priceless…half confused, half amazed, and a lot of laughter 😂

This is what makes Bhutan special. Nothing feels forced. It’s simple, real, and full of warmth.
