Yesterday was a very auspicious day for Buddhists. It was the day when five most important events in the life of Lord Buddha occurred, miraculously on a same date (Fifteenth day of the Fourth month of Tibetan calendar). The five events in sequence are: (i) Lord Buddha was conceived in his motherโ€™s womb; (ii) he was born at Lumbini; (iii) he subdued the demons; (iv) he attained enlightenment, and lastly, (v) he attained parinirvana and left the physical world to exhibit the nature of impermanence to all. By all accounts, he is the greatest teacher on this earth. He has found a truth more than 2500 years ago which is all pervasive and needs no updation at all. May Dharma flourish on earth!

"The man who comes back through the Door in the Wall will never be quite the same as the man who went out. He will be wiser but less sure, happier but less self-satisfied, humbler in acknowledging his ignorance yet better equipped to understand the relationship of words to things, of systematic reasoning to the unfathomable mystery which it tries, forever vainly, to comprehend" ~ Aldous Huxley
