The Department of Immigration is pleased to announce the implementation of the Stamp-less Visa System for the following services:

✔️ Visa Extension
✔️ Re-entry Endorsement
✔️ Transfer of Visa from one passport to another

Under this initiative, all approvals will be issued digitally, eliminating the need for physical visa stamps.

The takin, Bhutan's national animal, has a unique origin story tied to local mythology. Legend says that the Divine Madman, Lama Drukpa Kuenley, created the takin by attaching a goat's head to an ox’s skeleton.
