The black-necked crane (Grus nigricollis) is a medium-sized crane in Asia that breeds on the Tibetan Plateau and remote parts of India and Bhutan. It is 139 cm (55 in) long with a 235 cm (7.8 ft) wingspan, and it weighs 5.5 kg (12 lbs).
The Black-necked Crane is one of the spiritual creatures for the people of the area and is pictured alongside many of their deities in the monasteries of the region.A festival in Bhutan celebrates the bird while the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir considers it as the state bird.

And it was wonderful to get to have a sight of this beauty

The launch of rupay card is a great idea, it saves one from the burden to carry exchanged currency while traveling.

The Prime Ministers of Bhutan and India launched RuPay card at the Semtokha Dzong today. RuPay Card is an initiative of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote financial inclusion through digital technology in India.
