This October, we're honored to be guiding a group up to the Jhomolhari Mountain Festival, this is a private 18 day tour that includes a 10 day Trek to Jhomolhari Base Camp.

***The Jhomolhari Mountain Festival is held every year from October 14 to 15 in the highland villages of Soe and Lingzhi, near the base of the Jhomolhari Mountain. This two-day festival celebrates the culture and lifestyle of Bhutan’s highland communities and features traditional music, masked dances, yak-based sports, local cuisine, and handmade crafts. It also promotes snow leopard conservation, as the area is part of their natural habitat. Combined with the scenic Jhomolhari trek, the festival offers a rare chance to experience Bhutan’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage in one of its most remote regions.
