MAKGADIKGADI. EARTH, REIMAGINED.

The aching beauty of the Makgadikgadi is quite simply unmatched. This unique destination is filled with surreal landscapes and specially adapted species and has to be seen to be believed.

Endless salt flats. Cracked white crusts underfoot. Vast landscapes. Shimmering horizons. The Makgadikgadi feels like stepping onto another planet - a world shaped by wind, water and time.

With us, you won’t just visit – you’ll understand.

World Lion Day reminds us how precious these iconic creatures truly are. With their numbers shrinking and challenges growing, it’s a wake-up call for all of us who love Africa’s wild heart.

We celebrate the beauty and power of lions, and we hope every journey inspires deeper respect and care for the wild spaces they call home. Because the future of lions depends on all of us. ❤️

Where Botswana Begins to Look Like South Africa
Tuli sits in Botswana’s elbow , pressed up against the Limpopo River where the land starts to flirt with South Africa. And you feel it. The terrain shifts under your feet.

The wide floodplains of the Delta vanish.
The landscape lifts into red ridges, sandstone cliffs, twisted mopane forests and dry riverbeds carved by time. You swear you’ve crossed into another country , but you haven’t. You’ve just entered Tuli.

Here, even the silence sounds different.
And if you’re paying attention, you’ll see it too:
The Botswana you thought you knew is about to surprise you.

This is just the beginning!

The A in August stands for Authentic.

Authentic stories. Authentic experiences. Authentic Botswana.

In the far east of Botswana, along the Limpopo River, lies a region that quietly carries centuries of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Often overshadowed by bigger safari names, Tuli Block remains one of our best-kept secrets , a place where basalt rock formations, baobab forests, and wildlife corridors create a safari unlike anywhere else in Africa.

What makes Tuli special is the energy around this gem , the sense of stillness you get being there and the fact that you’re not just observing the wild but you are part of it.

We are not here to simply market Botswana , you know why ? Because we’re from here.We walk the same soil we curate experiences on.

Some stories are best told by those who live them.

This August, stay close as we shine a light on one of Botswana’s most sacred hidden gems.

Botswana is often spoken about through the lens of wildlife and luxury. But beyond sightings and lodges lies something older, quieter ,and equally valuable.

Gcwihaba Caves are a National Monument and one of the most geologically and culturally significant sites in Botswana.

First used by the Kung San community, the caves are rich in archaeological evidence, with towering limestone structures, bat colonies, and a unique ecosystem that includes the Namaqua Fig (found nowhere else).

As tourism shifts toward cultural and ecological depth, places like Gcwihaba offer a rare kind of value: not just visual beauty, but a deeper connection to time, place, and legacy.

We don’t just want offer you safaris. , we want to tell stories very responsibly, slowly, and with intention.

Botswana’s elephants are in a league of their own. Not just because there’s so many of them, but because of how they live.

They’re some of the biggest on the continent, towering up to 4 meters and weighing close to 10 tonnes. But it’s not just the size that makes them stand out. It’s their freedom, their memory, their calm confidence.

While elephants in other regions are often fenced in, Botswana’s herds roam across wild, open landscapes. They follow the same migration paths their ancestors did, guided by matriarchs who’ve been through countless dry seasons and know exactly where to find water.

They live in tight family groups, led by the females. And when the time is right, those smaller groups come together, creating massive gatherings that feel almost ceremonial.

And here’s the beautiful part…because they aren’t constantly under threat, they move differently. There’s a calmness in them. A kind of quiet knowing. They remember. They adapt. They teach.

These elephants are storytellers. Carriers of memory. Proof that when wildlife is allowed to thrive, it does so with grace. ❤️

You don’t need a 5-star city to feel 5-star peace.

When Lerato reached out, she sure as hell wasn’t chasing trends , all she wanted was silence. Stillness. Connection. She wanted a place that spoke to her spirit.

So we took her off the beaten path to Nxamaseri. The quiet riverways. The warm lodge. The deep breath she didn’t know she needed.

She said:
“From the beginning, your team was clear, consistent, and so helpful. I felt supported every step of the way. And that made all the difference.”

We don’t just book trips, we hold space for you to return to yourself.

Africa doesn’t wait for perfect timing. She rewards the prepared heart.❤️

TRAVEL FACT MONDAY

Skeleton Coast, Namibia: Where shipwrecks whisper across sand dunes.

Centuries ago, sailors steered into relentless fog and crashed into hidden reefs.
Over 1,000 ships now lie scattered across the shoreline stranded by nature’s might.
From whale bones to rusted hulls, this stretch of coast earned its name the hard way. 🦴

Above the dunes, desert elephants tread across sands you won’t see on any map. In the mist below, seals bark on wind-battered rocks. It’s a land both silent and untamed.

Would you wake up where history meets the horizon?

This Friday, we’re thinking of Kubu Island ,
rocky ground stretching wide,
ancient baobabs standing tall,
and the kind of quiet you don’t find anywhere else.

Botswana moves slow.
And so do we.
