🚨 A DIFFICULT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SEK PATHWAYS
It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of our Swakopmund Trip, scheduled for 14–19 December 2026.
This decision was not made lightly. After extensive discussions and careful consideration, we have concluded that it is no longer possible for us to proceed with the trip under the current circumstances.
Yesterday, our head was attacked at his home, and valuable belongings, including phones and a laptop containing critical company documents, border clearance paperwork, trip plans, bookings, and other information essential to the organisation of the trip, were stolen. The loss of these materials has placed us in an extremely difficult position and has made it impossible for us to confidently and responsibly continue with the planned journey.
We understand that many of you were excited, made preparations, trusted us with your bookings, and looked forward to creating unforgettable memories in Swakopmund. We are deeply sorry for disappointing you. We know that an apology cannot replace the excitement you had or the plans you made, but we sincerely ask for your understanding during this difficult moment.
Most importantly, we want to reassure everyone who booked a seat that your money is safe. All confirmed bookings will be fully refunded within 7 days from today, 15 August 2026.
We take your trust seriously. Although this is one of the hardest decisions SEK Pathways has had to make, we believe it is better to step back than to compromise the safety, reliability, and standards we promised our travelers.
To everyone who supported SEK Pathways, shared our flyers, recommended us to others, booked a seat, or simply believed in the vision thank you. This setback does not erase the dream we started with.
Sometimes, the journey takes an unexpected turn. This may be a pause, but it is not the end of Sek Pathways.
