Thobolo's Bush Lodge "NEW" Deep In The Bush! Follow the signs. The lodge is located above the largest natural pan in the area - Barangwe Pan.

Thobolo’s Bush Lodge is situated one hundred and ten kilometres out of Kasane, all on a good tar road, except for the final thirteen kilometres into the bush, on a sandy road - the cutline road to Savuti.

To all our followers, ex and future guests, we wish you all the very best for 2022. Let’s pray that the madness now disappears so that our world can finally get back to a strong sense of normalcy. Amongst the so much sad and unnecessary suffering, our planet has had to deal with, our conservation efforts have also been greatly effected. Let us strive to now use common sense and compassion in order to condemn many of the destructive policies that have evolved in the last two years, concerning our flora and fauna.

We are getting good rains, so once again, the bush has gone green. These taken just before sunset last night. Not a lot of game right now but, of course this is normal this time of the year all over wet Africa! Lots of water and food everywhere. Such is natures gift after what was a long dry winter!

A bit grainy, but here the wild dogs harassing the hyena. Will post more later!!

Hyena killed this young buffalo in the early hours of this morning! Lots of great sounds then wild dogs arrived and seem to have harassed them off. Very close to our chef, Givemore’s, accommodation, so this would have worked in the wild dogs favor as they are way less concerned with people than are the hyena’s. Feel sure the wild dogs will be around for days now👍🏻👍🏻
