After an exceptional rainy season, the Boteti River has returned to Khumaga! The water crossing is already quite deep, and the famous ferry linking the village to the park entrance should be up and running shortly, if it isn’t already. We'll keep our selfdrivers updated!

An unusual sighting on safari!

Elands are the largest antelope in Africa, yet among the most elusive. Naturally shy and incredibly alert, they usually melt into the woodland long before vehicles approach.

Seeing so many of them gathered together, standing calmly in the light, feels like being briefly initiated into a well-kept secret of the wilderness.

There is always something new to discover on safari, even after 20 years of roaming the bush throughout southern Africa!
