Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Freelance Camp Assistant-Waiter /Waiteress Camp Assistant-Housekeeper and Chefs to join our mobile safari team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in remote environments, and is passionate about hospitality.
You will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional comfort and service while experiencing the wilderness.
Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Service
• Professionally serve meals and beverages
• Set up and break down dining areas
• Deliver attentive and friendly guest service
Housekeeping
• Clean and prepare guest tents as per Safari Addicts standards
• Maintain spotless bathrooms and shared areas
General Camp Support
• Assist with setting up and dismantling mobile camps
• Help maintain camp equipment and supplies
• Support the team with general camp duties as needed
Requirements
• Previous experience in hospitality, lodge, or mobile camp service preferred
• Ability to work in remote bush locations for extended periods
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Professional and guest-focused attitude
