To understand wildlife, sometimes you have to follow its footsteps.
Yesterday, a leopard marked this place. Today, I stood in the very same spot, seeing the Delta from a leopard's point of view.
One of the most powerful things you can do as a guide is bring your guests back to the exact place where you saw a leopard or a lion. Sit where it sat. Lie where it rested. Pause, observe, and imagine what it was seeing, hearing, smelling, and feeling.
For a few moments, you stop looking at the animal, and start seeing the world through it.
That's where the real story begins.
