This tour will leave OโLeary Corner at approximately 7:00 am Tuesday July 7th, 2026.
Pick ups start at OโLeary Corner, PEI and continue in; Summerside (Walmart Parking lot), and Howattโs Shell, Borden. (Additional pick ups may be added based on booking demands.) We will travel through Nova Scotia and stop for lunch in beautiful Auldโs Cove before crossing the causeway into Cape Breton and making our way to our hotel in North Sydney.
Following breakfast, the next morning, we will make our way to the North Sydney ferry for our morning crossing to Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland. Upon arrival in Newfoundland, we will make our way to our hotel in Corner Brook where we will enjoy a great night sleep in preparation for our first day of exploring.
In the morning, after we enjoy breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and make our way to Deer Lake where we will have a short washroom break. From Deer Lake, we will travel to Woody Point which is a Registered Heritage District in the heart of Gros Morne National Park, we will also visit Tablelands. The coach will drop everyone at The Old Loft Restaurant in Woody Point for lunch on our own. The Old Loft is one of the oldest buildings in the community and recognized as a good example of an early twentieth century merchant building. Following lunch, we will walk a short distance and board The Bonne Bay Passenger Ferry to Norris Point. This is a 15 minute boat ride which will allow for photo opportunities of Tablelands, Gros Morne Mountain and communities nestled along the shores. After a day full of adventure and beautiful scenery and experiences, we meet our coach in Norris Point and travel to our accommodations for the night in Plum Point.
Following breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and travel to LโAnse aux Meadows National Historic Site where we will have approximately 90 minutes to explore on our own. LโAnse aux Meadows is located on the most northerly point of Newfoundland and is the only authenticated Norse site in North America. Following our time exploring, we will have lunch, visit a local craft store and then make our way to our accommodation in Shallow Bay for a two-night stay.
On our fifth day following breakfast, we will board our coach and travel back to Norris Point where we will arrive at Bon Tours for a 2 hour (approximately) boat tour of Western Brook Pond. This โtour has been featured in many magazines and several television programs. Throughout the tour you will enjoy live interpretation pointing out some of the geological and historical features of this wonder of nature. Refreshments are available. The boats have canopied decks and on-board lavatories. (Transportation via golf cart is available to the boat for guests with mobility issues). Following the tour, we will meet our coach and travel back to our accommodations in Shallow Bay where we can enjoy the rest of the evening on our own. Be sure to check out the Dinner Theater this evening for a genuine Newfoundland experience!
In the morning we will check out of our hotel following breakfast and travel to our first stop at Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse in Rocky Harbour for a chance to capture some photos of the breath taking scenery. We then continue on to Deer Lake where we will stop for a washroom break. Continuing on from Deer Lake, we will stop in Kings Point where we will have lunch on our own at By The Sea Inn & Cafe. Following lunch we will continue on to Gander. Entering Gander we will stop in to the North Atlantic Aviation Museum which is a museum โdedicated to preserving and presenting stories highlighting Ganders role in the development of Trans Atlantic Aviationโ*. Following our time at the museum, we will make our way to Sinbads Hotel & Suites in Gander for a one night stay.
After breakfast, we will board the coach and make our way from Gander to Boydโs Cove where we will have a short rest stop. Continuing on we will now be making our way to Twillingate โ the iceberg capital of the world! The town of Twillingate is also one of the oldest ports on Twillingate Island. We will now once again board the coach and make our way to Gander Airport for a short break and then continue on to our accommodations in Clarenville for a one night stay.
In the morning we will check out following breakfast and make our way to the town of D***o. The D***o area has a long history, going as far back as 2000 BC, here you will have some free time to explore before enjoying lunch at the D***o Brewing Co. and Museum. After lunch we will make our way to Bay Bulls where we will board the largest tour boat in Newfoundland for a Puffin and Whale Watch Cruise! (Approximately 2 hours). Upon return from our boat tour, we will then continue on towards our hotel in St Johnโs for a two night stay. Our hotel is within walking distance of the famous George Street!
Our final day in Newfoundland will include a city tour of St Johnโs, Cape Spear, Signal Hill and much more! Following the tour, you will have the remainder of the day to explore and experience at our own leisure.
Thursday, following breakfast, we will aim to check out of our hotel around noon and make our way to the Marine Atlantic Argentia Ferry Terminal where we will board the ferry and receive our cabin keys. Sit back and relax for the duration of the approximately 16 hour ferry crossing or enjoy some of the dining or entertainment offered on the ferry.
Once off the ferry in the morning on the 17th, we will make our way back home with lunch stops and rest breaks along the way.
