Our hearts are with Wainwright and everyone whose lives have been forever changed by this heartbreaking loss. ❤️

The Canadian Armed Forces community holds a very special place in our hearts. Many of our team members are military spouses and families, and we know firsthand that no matter where life takes us, how many postings we’ve experienced, or how many provinces separate us, the military community is always connected.

When tragedy strikes one community, the impact is felt across the entire CAF family.

We are thinking of the families, friends, fellow CAF members, firefighters, paramedics, and first responders affected by this tragedy. We also want to recognize everyone who has stepped forward to offer comfort, compassion, and support during an unimaginable time.

Another cruise ship tour in the books! 🚢💙

I was so excited to have the opportunity to tour another cruise ship! One of my favourite things about being a travel advisor is getting to experience these ships firsthand. Pictures and videos are great, but actually stepping onboard gives me a much better idea of what I’m recommending to my clients.

This time, it was the Sapphire Princess, and I have to say, she did not disappoint!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a ship her age, but I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, there were a few areas that showed their age and could use a little updating, but the ship was incredibly clean and so well maintained. You can tell they take pride in keeping her looking her best.

The open spaces were absolutely stunning! I loved how spacious and inviting everything felt. And can we talk about the food? Everything we tried was delicious, and of course, I had to sample the ice cream! 🍦😂

The crew were another highlight. Everyone we encountered was so sweet, welcoming and genuinely seemed happy to have us onboard.

One thing I’m learning from touring different cruise lines is that every ship has its own personality. Bigger and newer doesn’t always mean better. Sometimes it’s the atmosphere, the service and those little details that make a ship special.

I’m so glad I had the opportunity to see Sapphire Princess for myself. It’s another ship I can now confidently talk about when helping clients plan their next cruise.

As I sit here reflecting on everything I have to be thankful for this year, I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for the people who make MACS Travel what it is today.

First and foremost, my team. ❤️

I don’t think I could ever truly put into words just how thankful I am for each and every one of you.

MACS is so much more than a travel agency to me. It’s something I’ve poured my heart into, and watching it grow into what it is today, surrounded by such an incredible group of people, is something I’ll never take for granted.

To my entire team, thank you for believing in this little dream of mine, for bringing your own passion, personalities, talents, and hearts into everything you do.
