Do you ever have one of those weeks where youโ€™re not even thrivingโ€ฆ youโ€™re just surviving? ๐Ÿ˜‚

That was me last week.

Life needed my attention in about twelve different directions, and for a few days, travel had to take a bit of a back seat.

But Iโ€™m BACK at it this week. โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒด

Catching up on emails.
Working through quotes.
Researching resorts.
Checking options.
And slowly making my way through the list of people waiting to hear from me.

Happy National Dog Day to my two favourite little coworkers. ๐Ÿพ

They may not travel with me, but theyโ€™ve been beside me through every trip Iโ€™ve researched, every vacation Iโ€™ve booked, and every exciting moment Iโ€™ve celebrated for my clients.

Kids are heading back to school next week, September is basically knocking on the door, and before we know it the flip-flops will be traded for sweaters and the leaves will start doing their thing. ๐Ÿ‚

And that got me thinkingโ€ฆ ๐’‡๐’‚๐’๐’ ๐’•๐’“๐’‚๐’—๐’†๐’.

I feel like fall is one of those seasons people either LOVE to travel in or completely overlook.

There are some trips I book that I get a little extra excited about- and this is definitely one of them. โค๏ธ

The sweetest client reached out to me looking for somewhere special to take her family over Christmas. With two teenage boys, one thing was VERY clear from the beginning:

This resort was designed with families in mind- and the water situation alone is next level. ๐Ÿ’ฆ Thereโ€™s the huge Aquatica Waterpark, Splash Island, a wave pool, an enormous lagoon-style pool, cenote-inspired pools and waterfallsโ€ฆ basically, plenty for two teenage boys to explore while Mom and Dad get to actually enjoy their vacation too. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Add in tons of activities, a teen club, loads of dining options and the whole Lopesan complex to explore, and this felt like such a good fit for a family Christmas that needed to have a little more excitement than your average resort stay.

And now theyโ€™re officially spending Christmas in Punta Cana! ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŒด

Wore these to work today in this absolutely miserable weather and there is something VERY satisfying about walking straight through wet parking lots and puddles in white sneakers without giving a single s**t.

Feet: dry.
Shoes: still white.
And bonus- they were comfortable immediately. Zero break-in time ๐Ÿ™Œ

Considering I bought these specifically for fall weather in Ireland, todayโ€™s little rain test has me feeling VERY good about that decision.
