Be honest… how much of your vacation planning revolves around food? 😂

I’m definitely the type of traveller who researches what to eat before deciding what to see. Local restaurants, street-food markets, bakeries and regional specialties are always part of my plans.

For me, trying the food is one of the best ways to experience a destination.

Paris gets a lot of hate… but I absolutely loved it. 🇫🇷

I’d heard all the usual things before going. It’s dirty, people are rude, it’s overrated. But that really wasn’t my experience at all.

There is SO much to see and do. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, Montmartre, the Seine, the little cafés and neighbourhoods… and one of my favourites was actually the Catacombs. Such a cool and completely different experience.

And that barely scratches the surface. You could spend days just wandering around and still feel like you missed half the city.

Was everything perfect? Of course not. No city is. But Paris had that feeling I hoped it would have, and I’d happily go back.

I know Paris seems to be one of those places people either love or hate.

I’m convinced there’s no better feeling than being through security with way too much time to spare 😂✈️

Grab a coffee, wander around, people watch and officially switch into vacation mode.

Maybe it’s the travel advisor in me, but I’ll take sitting at the gate for two hours over running to it any day 😂

Two couples are officially booked aboard the Emerald Sky for the Danube Delights & Classic Prague river cruise in fall 2027!

This is why I always recommend taking screenshots of everything important before you leave.
