Just booked another incredible adventure! ✈️

My clients are heading off on Emerald Cruises' Grand Tour of Indochina in November 2027 — a 24-day journey through Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, including a luxury Mekong River cruise.

One thing that surprised both of us during the planning process is how many sailings are already sold out, even though we're talking about 2027. These bucket-list river cruises are in high demand, and the most popular dates and cabin categories don't stay available for long.

This trip has been on their wish list for a while, and it's exciting to see it officially booked and on the calendar. From ancient temples and vibrant cities to life along the Mekong River, they're in for an incredible experience.

A great reminder that if there's a destination or cruise you've been dreaming about, it might be worth starting the conversation sooner rather than later.

One of the things I love most about travel is seeing families make memories together.

From dads carrying sleepy kids through airports, to teaching them how to read a train schedule in a new country, to finally taking that dream trip they've talked about for years—those moments often end up meaning more than any attraction or landmark.

Travel isn't really about the places. It's about the people we share them with.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who help create those memories and inspire the next generation of travelers.

Home from an amazing trip and already missing it.

I always find the hardest part of travel is coming home. For a little while every day is something different—wandering new streets, trying new foods, and seeing places you've only read about before.

Now it's back to reality, catching up on laundry and sorting through photos. But I can already feel my mind drifting to the next adventure. There are still so many places to see, and somehow every trip just makes that list longer.

For now, I'm grateful for the memories ❤️ I'm sure we'll be back.

Got caught in a thunderstorm in Amsterdam tonight. ⛈️

Watching the canals and historic buildings light up with every flash of lightning was pretty incredible. Not exactly what we planned, but definitely a travel memory we'll remember. 🇳🇱✨

Last day in Amsterdam and summer finally showed up. 🌞 It was one of the hottest days of the trip and honestly felt like the sun was trying to take us out, but it made for a perfect final day.

We tried Indonesian food for the first time at Kartika, and it was incredible. The staff were some of the kindest people we've met on this trip, and I'd highly recommend it if you're visiting Amsterdam.

Later, we explored the Red Light District, taking in another side of the city's history and culture. Then the weather completely changed. We got caught in a thunderstorm and instead of running for cover, we stopped to watch. Seeing the canals, old buildings, and streets lit up by flashes of lightning was pretty amazing and a fitting end to our time here.

I still love Amsterdam as much as I did the first time I visited, and it made this trip even more special getting to share it with the person I love. ❤️🇳🇱

I'd never really heard much about Antwerp before this trip, but it's quickly won me over.

One of the city's most famous landmarks is the statue of Brabo throwing a giant's hand into the river. According to local legend, a giant demanded tolls from anyone crossing the river. If they refused, he cut off their hand. Brabo defeated the giant and threw the hand into the river.

Today was a slower day. We wandered around the city, tried a new cheese, learned a bit more about Belgian chocolate, and spent some time chatting with locals. Antwerp feels a little less hectic than Amsterdam, and it's been nice to just explore without much of a plan.

Sometimes that's all you need: a city, some good food, and nowhere in particular to be.

Day 4 started with a slow morning before hopping on the train to Antwerp. 🇧🇪 Belgium is a new country for both of us, and honestly, it was an easy choice. It's just about an hour from Amsterdam, making it the perfect little side trip and a chance to experience somewhere completely different.

One fun fact: Antwerp Central Station is often considered one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, and after seeing it in person, I completely understand why. The architecture is incredible.

Antwerp itself is so charming. We wandered through the historic streets, stopped for a coffee, browsed a few shops, and admired all the beautiful buildings. It's a city that feels grand without being overwhelming, and it didn't take long for us to see why so many people fall in love with it. 🇧🇪✨

Sometimes when I'm travelling, I stop and think about how I'll probably never be in this exact place, at this exact moment, ever again.

The same street. The same sunset. The same people passing by. The same version of me experiencing it all.

Travel has a way of reminding us that moments are temporary, which is exactly what makes them so meaningful.

It's a good reminder to put the camera down once in a while, look around, and just take it all in. Those are often the memories that stay with us the longest. 🌍✈️

Day 3 in Amsterdam 🇳🇱

Today was one of those days where we didn't rush around trying to see everything.

We spent a few hours at the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. Standing in front of artwork you've only ever seen in books, online, or on coffee mugs hits a little differently.

After that, we grabbed fish sandwiches, found some ice cream, and spent time people-watching in the park. One of my favourite things about Amsterdam is how easy it is to just wander. Around every corner there's another canal, another beautiful building, or something unexpected to catch your attention.

No big plans for the evening. Just walking, talking, and soaking up another day in a city that somehow feels both busy and relaxed at the same time. 😊🍦🚶‍♀️🌷

Day 2 was one of those days that reminds you why travel is so special.

We started at the Anne Frank House. No matter how much you think you know about Anne Frank's story, standing in those rooms is something else entirely. It's emotional, moving, and a reminder that even during some of history's darkest moments, people still found ways to hold onto hope, love, and each other.

After that, we visited the Dutch Resistance Museum. I honestly loved it. The stories of ordinary people who chose to resist and help others are incredible. It reminds you that throughout history there have always been people willing to stand up against injustice, even when it came at great personal risk.

The evening was a complete change of pace. We hopped aboard an evening canal cruise with Dam Boat Guys and laughed our way through Amsterdam's canals. The guides were hilarious, the views were beautiful, and it was such a fun way to experience the city. Definitely one of our favourite things we've done so far.

Between the history, the stories, the canals, and spending the day exploring with Jason for his 40th birthday trip, it was a pretty perfect Amsterdam day. 🇳🇱❤️

Highly recommend every single one of these experiences if Amsterdam is on your travel list. ✈️
