Cancun has an entire museum… UNDERWATER! 🤿🌊

Yep, you read that right! 😲

The MUSA Underwater Museum is home to hundreds of life-size sculptures sitting beneath the Caribbean Sea. Over time, coral and marine life have made many of the sculptures their home, so the artwork is actually becoming part of the reef. 🪸🐠

The museum was created to help draw visitors away from the natural coral reefs and give marine life another place to grow. Pretty cool, right? 👏

Depending on the area, you can experience MUSA by snorkeling or scuba diving — so instead of walking through a museum, you're swimming through one! 😍

And let's be honest… how many museums can say they have tropical fish swimming through the exhibits? 😂🐟

💎 LET’S TALK ABOUT RESORT UPGRADES…

I think sometimes we forget that the all-inclusive resort world has changed quite a bit over the years. 🌴

Years ago, you could book an all-inclusive and generally expect that most of what the resort offered was available to everyone. And you’ll still have access to all the things you expect from an all-inclusive — the beach, pools, buffet, entertainment, bars and plenty of restaurants and activities.

But many resorts, especially some of the higher-end properties, have evolved and now offer different levels of access and additional perks.

The lowest-priced room category is typically the entry-level option. That doesn't mean you're missing out on the vacation experience — it simply means some of the additional perks may be reserved for guests who choose an upgraded category.

You may see names like Preferred Club, Privilege, Premium, Diamond, Xhale Club, and more. 💎

Depending on the resort, an upgrade could include:

✨ Additional restaurant or dining access
🍽️ Priority à la carte reservations
🍸 Premium drinks & exclusive lounges
🏖️ Preferred or private beach areas
🥂 Private check-in & upgraded amenities
🛎️ Concierge or butler service
🛏️ Better room locations

Of course, every resort is different. Some resorts include almost everything with their standard room categories, while others have created more of a tiered experience.

So if you're looking for the lowest possible price, or asking me to quote the most budget-friendly option, just keep in mind that it will generally be the entry-level category.

And honestly, an upgrade can be absolutely worth it for some people, while others may not feel they need it at all. It really comes down to what you want out of your vacation and which perks are important to you. 😊

But here’s the thing — just because something is advertised as a sale doesn’t automatically mean it’s the cheapest option. I see travel prices every day, and prices can vary quite a bit depending on the dates, flights, room category and resort.

Sometimes the better deal is simply choosing different dates rather than waiting for a big “SALE” banner to pop up.

You may still find a vacation later, but you could end up paying more and having to compromise on the resort, room, dates or flights you really wanted.

Yesterday was so much fun at the ACV event! 🥰✈️ It was so nice getting together with some of my fellow MACS team members, connecting, and of course talking all things TRAVEL! 🌴☀️

I’m so glad I got to be part of it and learn even more about this amazing industry. ❤️🌴
