As the third most northerly community in Canada, the hamlet of Arctic Bay, Nunavut is as remote as it is beautiful.

There are no roads to Nunavut, and air travel is by far the most common means of transportation. Regularly scheduled flights depart from Ottawa, Ontario, the capital city of Canada. Ottawa can easily be reached from any major centre in the world.

YAB airport is located 5.6 km southeast of Arctic Bay.

We have an elder lady from France looking to stay with a family in Arctic bay for 9 nights. ABA will pay $400 per day plus $100 food. This lady stayed with a family in Greenland and enjoyed it very much.
