I recently visited Victoria and decided to take my parents and sister on the Hip & Hidden Chinatown Tour—and what a fabulous experience it was!

We tasted our way through an incredible mix of cultures and flavours, from Filipino purple yam buns (ube pandesal) to handmade Mexican tacos, Indian samosas, and even Japanese onigiri.

So many amazing little gems tucked away in and around Chinatown—and who would have thought you could find such a diverse food scene hidden in Chinatown?

It was such a fun way to explore the neighbourhood, discover places we never would have found on our own, and eat a lotof delicious food along the way.

Highly, highly recommended! If you’re visiting Victoria and love food, this is definitely one to put on your list.
