Who's ridden the Bow Valley Parkway this autumn? 🍁

The scenic highway is closed to vehicles until October 6 this year and the e-biking has been fantastic!

Take advantage on our Johnston Canyon E-Bike and Hike. We'll be running e-bike tours until Canadian Thanksgiving (October 12) and spots are filling up.

Summer 2026 isn't QUITE over, but we're already starting to reminisce!

This season has been one for the books (hence why we've been a bit quieter on here than usual). Between day hikes, multi-day hiking trips, e-biking, Heli-hiking, and team-building, we're starting to go through the evidence. 🔎

Dust off your bikes, buckle your helmet, and bring your bear spray; the Bow Valley Parkway is ready for another season of cycling! 🚴‍♀️

Beginning tomorrow, September 1st the 17 km section of the Bow Valley Parkway is closed to public vehicles as part of the extended Bow Valley Parkway Cycling Offer.

Here’s what to know ⤵️
🅿️ Start in the Town of Banff and park at the Banff Train Station parking. Ride via Vermilion Lakes Drive + the Legacy Trail connector
🚫 No parking along the Trans-Canada Highway (limited accessible parking at the east entrance). Access remains available:
• Johnston Canyon trail & campground via Castle Junction
• Western section (Johnston Canyon to Lake Louise) remains open to vehicles year-round
🎒Services are limited. Be sure to bring food, water, layers and bike repair tools
🦌 Respect wildlife! Give animals plenty of space, stay on trail and respect all closures. Make sure you carry bear spray, have it easily accessible and know how to use it. Report wildlife encounters to Banff Dispatch: 403-762-1470
