Due to today’s weather, Toutons & Tunes will not be going ahead this afternoon.

We’ll be back next week! Join us every Sunday in September from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the Red Shed on the Shoreline Heritage Trail for live music and toutons.

Public Notice - Office Closure Monday September 7th 2026

Please be advised that the Town Office will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labour Day.

The Town Office will reopen for regular business hours from 8am-4pm on Tuesday, September 8.

The Town of Bay Roberts wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Labour Day weekend.

PAVING & TRAFFIC NOTICE – KLONDYKE CAUSEWAY / WATER STREET

Please be advised that paving will take place on the Klondyke Causeway today, Sept. 4th. Motorists may experience temporary delays while this work is underway.

As the Klondyke Causeway is part of the current detour route for the Water Street Phase 2 project, Water Street will be open to traffic while paving is underway on the Klondyke.

The section of Water Street currently under construction between the Conception Bay Highway & Barracks Lane will also remain open to traffic throughout the Labour Day weekend.

Motorists are reminded that Water Street remains an active construction zone. Please drive with caution, reduce speed, and follow all posted signage and traffic control measures.

The Town appreciates your patience and cooperation.

Please be advised that a scheduled temporary water shut-off will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, as part of ongoing infrastructure work on Water Street.

Affected Area: Water Street and side streets from Conception Bay Highway up to, but not including, Russell’s Place.

Water service will be shut off beginning at 9:00 am and is expected to be restored by approximately 5:00 pm.

Due to the amount of work involved, the shut-off may extend beyond 5:00 pm. Residents in the affected area are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Following the restoration of service, some residents may experience temporary water discolouration. If this occurs, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.

The Town of Bay Roberts appreciates your patience and cooperation while this important infrastructure work is completed.
