There is a whole other side to whale watching that we rarely talk about. Captain Bob has witnessed this whale come back multiple times in the past 11 years. She was tangled up in rope which left a bad gouge into her back. Thank goodness she survived and has healed well. We often see whales showing signs of being attacked by predators like sharks and we work with other whale groups around the world in order to identify the same whales. It’s absolutely fascinating to learn more about these beautiful creatures we have all come to love! 🌊
