💲 "Travel advisors are more expensive." Included amenities, bonus perks, and non-published exclusive rates often bring the total cost below what you'd pay booking direct, even with my fee added. Plus, you get expertise, unwavering support, and hours of your time back.
"I can just book it myself online." You can. You can also cut your own hair, do your own taxes, and bake your own bread. The end results are usually better when you let a professional help. 😎
"Travel advisors only book Disney." Some do. I don't — I specialize in Europe and Newfoundland, which means my personal experience and destination expertise is focused there: river cruises, custom multi-city itineraries, and guided group trips. ✈️
🤔 "Travel advisors are for people who don't know how to travel." It's usually the opposite. I work with people who know exactly what they want and have no interest in spending twenty hours comparing hotel reviews, tour operators, or cruise amenities. If you already know your standards, you don't need to do the research — you need someone who already has.
"Travel advisors are outdated." The human element will never be replaced. When a flight is canceled, weather changes plans, or something goes sideways abroad, having a real person in your corner is more valuable than ever. 👩🏼💻
None of this is only about saving money, though that often happens too. It's about the value of expertise, relationships, and having someone who can fix things the moment they go sideways.
