One of the things I love the most about Australia's landscape is the red rock everywhere. The contrast of the red rock against the turquoise blue of the sea is even more amazing looking! 🧱💙 East Point Reserve is famous for its dramatic coastal cliffs, historic walking trails, and incredible wildlife spotting. I hope I get to visit here during !

Exciting mail day! I received a parcel from 100% Pure New Zealand Tourism after participating in an agent webinar all about the 25th anniversary of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring release. I really want to visit New Zealand to cross off all of the Middle Earth landmarks soon. Maybe in 2027?

If you want to visit Middle Earth too, let's chat! There are some really cool events happening in the next year, so if you like Lord of the Rings too, it's a great time to visit New Zealand.

It's hard to believe, but it's already back to school time for students! I hate the end of summer, but here's the good news: It's the perfect time to start planning that big 2027 trip to Japan or South Korea!

Cherry blossom season normally takes place at the end of March and early April, depending on the weather and location, so if you've always dreamt of taking part in Hanami, it's the right time to start booking hotels and grabbing the best hotels at decent rates!

If you'd like to know more about traveling in Japan or South Korea during cherry blossom season, leave a 🌸 in the comments!

I love a city on the sea, so I think Darwin is going to really win me over. 🌊
Darwin isn't just a city; it’s a vibrant harbour peninsula surrounded by coastal beauty. Can’t wait to explore Stokes Hill Wharf for fresh seafood, harbour cruises, and soaking in that breezy waterfront atmosphere.

I'll be bringing my camera to show everything I experience - what do you look forward to learning more about Australia?

I'm counting down the days until those legendary Northern Territory sunsets! 🌅🌴

Darwin is really unique to the rest of Australia because its' tropical climate brings warm, balmy evenings year-round—and there’s no better spot to take it in than Mindil Beach. I can't wait to enjoy warm evenings like this, especially since I'll be arriving in October when things are starting to cool down here in Canada!

‼️🌸THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BOOK A TRIP TO JAPAN🌸‼️

A lot of people ask me when it the best time to plan a trip to Japan? Of course, the most visually iconic time is during hamani, aka cherry blossom season. By the time people think about booking Japan though, a lot of the good hotels are already booked.

So if you've had your heart set on seeing cherry blossoms in Japan, NOW is the time to start booking hotels and flights for March/April 2027!

Want to know more about going to see cherry blossoms in Japan? Send me a DM or leave a 🌸 in the comments to reach out!

This past weekend was D23, which is like San Diego Comic Con but JUST for Disney stuff. I know I haven't mentioned much about Disney this year, but there were some crazy updates for both entertainment and the parks and experiences, so I'm thinking of highlighting some of the stuff covered over the weekend. I'll either make a few posts about it or film some reels - I haven't decided yet. But if you're a Disney fan and want to know about the big projects happening, keep an eye on here for updates!

It's been a bit of a crazy summer so far! I've had some big news to share already, like my new podcast with my Korea bestie (The Waygook Noonas) , but I have another big announcement today:

I will be attending G'Day Australia 2026 in Darwin / Garramilla this October! I'm VERY excited to be 1 of 300 travel agents globally visiting Darwin to learn from over 130 Australian companies and tourism providers. I'm looking forward to learning about everything Australia has to offer and coming home with LOTS of information to help plan your future trips!

Many of you know me for my extensive knowledge of travelling around Japan and South Korea because of my lived experience. We both know that there is no replacement to that experience, so I cannot wait to come back with information about what is available for 2027 travel.

The most exciting part of this trip is that it is NOT in one of the major cities like Sydney, but is up in the Northern Territory, where many people might not think to travel to immediately. This conference also include a famil, or a familiarization trip, where we will get to experience The Top End of Australia, which is far off the traditional path of locations to visit in Australia, but THAT'S THE POINT ❤️ I can't wait to tell you all more as the details come in. Be prepared - this is going to become an Australia Appreciation Page for the next few months!

Episode 2 of The Waygook Noonas is live! This week, we talk about the other k-pop groups that we loved to watch while living in South Korea. Can any of you guys relate to having an ultimate bias group but there's someone in the sidelines trying to make you look their way?

Next week's episode may deal with this happening currently. Stay tuned, listen, like, and share! ❤️

(Also, I know I have been terrible at social media this summer. I promise, you will start to hear about upcoming travel things soon!)

Episode 2 of The Waygook Noonas is live on all platforms!

This week, Rebecca and Alyssa talk about the groups that almost tempted them away from being Kiss Mes (유키스(U-KISS) fans). This conversation was LONG, and this is the abridged version. Before listening, let us know in the comments, who do you think we had on our top 5 lists? Some of our choices are obvious, but there are a few surprises.

We also chatted about Eric Nam 에릭남 voicing Aang in Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, which will be available to stream on Paramount+ tomorrow, July 25th. Do you plan to stream the movie?

Links to the episodes can be found in the comments! Chat with you soon! ❤️

The first episode of The Waygook Noonas went live on Friday! It's essentially my Korean fangirl resume. If you've ever thought about travelling to South Korea and want to work with someone who understands your own fangirl wishlist, I'm your girl.

The first episode of the The Waygook Noonas is now live! The video podcast can be watched on Spotify right now, and the audio-only version will be pushed out to Apple and Amazon podcasts as soon as the RSS refreshes. I ended up re-uploading the video onto YouTube, so it's currently processing and will be live soon.

I'll post links in the comments to all of the platforms as they go live, so make sure you give it a watch, like the ep or give it 5-stars and share it with anyone who might be interested in hearing about K-Pop history! lol
