💺 It's official: the incredibly tight new seats in the viral video we shared last week will be removed from those 21 planes, and this cabin reconfiguration plan is completely scrapped.

These were the seats with the least legroom in Canada, and WestJet had paused the rollout in December (before the video).

They sped up their review of the matter after the many complaints, and they've just announced that they will return to the previous amount of legroom (1 extra inch, or sometimes 2).

Beware if you travel elsewhere (as you hopefully do): this amount of legroom is relatively common on ultra low-cost carriers, so read our simple trick to check that, if you care about this.
