Buckhorn District Tourist Association A non-profit organization to help promote businesses and tourism in the Buckhorn and surrounding area.

Members of the BDTA have the following benefits:

- Being part of a progressive organization dedicated to the promotion of tourism in the Buckhorn Area.
- Free listing in our annual Tourist Guide publication together with preferred advertising rates
- Free listing on our website with reciprocal linkage to your website.
- Free display of your brochure in our Tourist Information Booth together with referrals from our knowledgeable staff.
- Free vacancy listing outside of the Tourist Information Booth when it is closed. Promotion of your facilities at the shows, which we attend in Canada and the U.S.A.
- Referrals from your fellow members.
- Receive regular updates on matters such as new legislation that may affect your business.
- Opportunities to discuss problems and ideas with other in the same business.
- Opportunity to serve on our Board of Directors and become involved in committee activities.
- Receive copies of the monthly Board of Directors meetings and attend as a guest at any time.
- Enjoy the dinner and great company at our Annual General Meeting - held in the fall.

FYI...for those who travel Peterborough County Rd. 37 (Lakehurst Rd). Speed limit reductions have been extended in and around Sandy Beach area by the county. Please be aware of where the 80 kms/per hour begins and ends NOW. Also speed limits have been lowered in the area of Gannons Narrows bridge. Stay safe and help to keep others safe.
