Welcome back to the channel, friends.

Come along with us and our special guests on a small road trip of Pico Island. We just had Mike & Jen visit Pico Island for the first, they were here for 5 glorious days.

On this (mostly) sunny day, we decided to show them a few nice areas around the island. We stopped in Lajes, Santa Cruz, Santo Amaro, Sao Roque, and a few other places.

We did venture up to the lakes, but it was too cloudy. We had a light lunch at a very scenic restaurant (Magma), and ended the day with a nice dinner at Tony Pingas, we had our favorite bbq chicken wings.

Sometimes in life we all need outside forces to help fight feeling down, frustration, anxiety & stress. Here in the Azores, we receive help from many nature forces around us; the Atlantic ocean, volcanos, lava, cows, whales, rainbows and much more.

Today; a rainbow was what the doctor ordered, and it quickly changed my mindset from negative to positive. Here in the Azores we experience so many dramatic vivid rainbows, today was no exception. It really helped me get back on track in completing what needed to be done.

We had an amazing time meeting the artists and learned why they decided to make Pico Island their home. We also got to experience how amazing their art is; they really showcase a wide range of various types of work. We especially loved how they captured the Azorean way of island life, culture, tradition, and much more.

Visiting the Munroe Art Gallery is a must while on Pico Island. They are located in the town of Madalena, within walking distance from the ferry terminal.

On this video, we spend some time visiting one of the top 50 marinas in the world. This archipelago of islands are considered to be a very important strategic point, located in the North Atlantic, between North America and Europe.

The marina is located in the city of Horta, on the island of Faial. This island is 1 of the 9 islands of the Azores, and one of the 7 regions of Portugal. This is an amazing marina, not too mention the most colourful.

You will get a glimpse of the city, the marina, lots of various types of yachts & sail boats. You will also get to see how colourful this place is, everyone gets to leave a piece of their artistic design before they sail away.
