El Camino update! 🇪🇸

The most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, hands down.

Is this fun? YES. Is this hard? Also YES.

Nobody really prepares you for how hard this trail is. Sunburns, blisters, sock issues, and a few new muscles later, you just learn to roll with it.

People walk this trail for 800 km. Next level human behavior. You’re fully present for every step of this insane, beautiful trail.

Yesterday we stood on the ROOF of a cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. Not a flat roof. A real one. Somehow completely legal. 😂

Then we transferred to Sarria, the most popular starting point on the Camino and the town where our 114 km walk to Santiago begins tomorrow.

Before this trip I had no idea what the Camino really was. It is one of the oldest pilgrimage routes in the world, dating back to medieval times, and people still walk it today for every reason you can imagine. Healing. Grief. A fresh start. The need to quiet the noise.

One foot in front of the other. Hour after hour. There is something about that rhythm that brings clarity like nothing else can.

Lord knows I could use some. ❤️
