Well… we did it again. 😂✨ But not without some amazing help
Burns Lake Music Society heading all the music,
Burns Lake Farmer's Market vendors kept us fed,
NKDF sponsoring both Leaps & Bounce & Michael Riis-Christianson & Mural,
brought something to her home town,
for capturing the lights

We couldn't be happier that another Light Up the Lake is officially in the books!

The boats were glowing, the lake was sparkling, the community showed up and somehow we’re already talking about what we can do next year.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make this event what it is — especially the people behind the scenes who make the magic happen.

Burns Lake, you’re pretty darn good at this community thing. ❤️

On September 11 (it'll be 25 years) at 5:00 a.m., members of the Burns Lake volunteer fire department will climb Babine Lake Road, from the highway to their training grounds, to remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11 and raise funds for the Never Forget Fund.

We remember. We climb together.

Sept 1-25 Stitched Together: A Showcase of Community Quilters

Hand stitched. Machine stitched. Tiny stitches. Big stitches. Probably more hours than anyone wants to admit. Every quilt in this has taken time, patience and a lot of thread. The real question is … can you guess how many hours went into making them?
So the next time someone says “oh it’s just a quilt” bring them to the gallery!
