One of the most common questions: Do I really need travel insurance?

My answer. It’s worth understanding what you’re saying no to before you decline it.

Travel insurance isn’t just for cancelling your vacation.

Depending on the coverage, it can help with things like unexpected illness or injury while travelling, trip interruption, delays, lost baggage and having to cancel for an eligible covered reason.

You may already have some coverage through a credit card or benefits plan, which is great! Just make sure you know exactly what it covers, the limits and who in your family is included.

I’m back from a little family vacay and feeling extra blessed 🤍

There’s something about getting away with hubby and the kiddos. Watching their excitement, slowing down together, and making memories I know we’ll talk about for years to come.

Thats exactly why I love being a part of planning your trips too. It’s never just a trip. It’s the memories, the stories, the feelings and everything that comes after the vacation.

If you’re flying with little ones, don’t leave your stroller at check-in unless you want to.

Most airlines allow you to gate-check your stroller, which means you can use it all the way through the airport and hand it over right before boarding. In many cases, it’s returned to you right at the aircraft door when you land.

It makes navigating airports, naps, and tired little legs so much easier.

One less thing to carry. One happier travel day 💛

Travel Tip Tuesday: Mama Edition 🫶

Before you get excited about booking your family vacation, take 30 seconds and check everyone’s passports.

Some countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates, even if they aren’t expired.

And don’t forget to check the kids passports too. Children’s passports expire much sooner than adults, and they’re easy to overlook.

It’s one of the simplest things to check now that can save you a lot of stress later.
