Thank you for sharing, and for joining us for such an incredible festival!❤️

Thank you so much to Sled Island for requesting we co-curate and for treating us so well.

We wanted to address some rumblings we have heard of select complaints of technical issues with the Bass at the show, and speculation that Hiro-chan left the stage on occasion due to these issues. There was an issue with the cable to the Bass speaker, but our engineer had boosted the signal to monitors and the PA to overcome the issue on stage and in house, however a select number of audience standing directly in front of the bass speaker may not have been covered by these solutions.

Hiro-chan was experiencing some health issues, so needed to take a breather off stage a couple times, where the festival had arranged a resting place and had an EMT on standby to oversee her well-being. She is doing well and wanted to perform rather than cancel the show and the Sled team supported this effort above and beyond, and we hope fans can understand and not take out frustrations on the festival.

Thanks again for taking part in Sled Island 2025!

Many people don’t know that Sled Island is a registered charity, and pass/ticket sales only cover 25% of our annual expenses, so we depend on donations in order the keep the fest going!

Once again, we are honoured to be a part of Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.

This non-profit program is under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation, and is a program designed to help raise new funds for local charities.

All donations made until August 31, 2025 will be matched up to 50% through the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program!

A few things have changed since we released the 2025 program guide.

Banggz is unable to make it to Sled Island 2025. Their previously scheduled performance will be replaced by:

Due to today’s heavy rainfall, the , , and more show at the has been moved indoors to keep everyone safe and dry.

The venue for the showcase featuring .collective, , and .blexxy has been moved from the King Eddy Rooftop to (1215 10 Ave SE) to accommodate for weather.
