Yes… there ARE bears in the Lake Louise area! 🐻❄️

If you’re visiting Lake Louise in Banff National Park, spotting wildlife is part of the magic! 🏔️✨ Both black bears and grizzly bears call this beautiful mountain region home — especially from spring through fall when they’re out foraging in the valleys and along scenic drives. 🌲🍃

Don’t worry though! Sightings are usually from a safe distance, and Parks Canada works hard to keep both visitors and wildlife protected. 💛 Remember:
✔️ Keep a safe distance (100m from bears!)
✔️ Never feed wildlife
✔️ Carry bear spray when hiking
✔️ Stay aware on trails

Parks Canada is exploring major parking changes at Lake Louise — and it could look a lot like Moraine Lake’s system 👀🚌
