Before the snow hit, we ventured to Ford Knoll for a before winter hike. It was an easier hike, accessed from Forgetmenotpond in Kananaskis off Highway 66. Was a lovely way to end off the fall hiking season. Next is winter hiking, always a fave!

Cape Sounion is a memory I’ll never forget. Standing by the Temple of Poseidon, with the Aegean Sea stretching endlessly before me, I felt both awe and calm wash over me. The ancient columns made it feel like time had paused.

The home where Carry lived when she began smashing saloons was declared a National Historic Landmark in May 1976.
