Just a few photos over the last few days. We have been busy with some big family dinners, visiting a beautiful abbey, and walking around exploring the beautiful medieval town. I also got a photo of the church my dad was baptized in and grandparents married in that was blown up by the Germans during WWII, and one of the memorial for Italians who left Canada after the war in search of a better life.

Although it was raining and raining, and raining some more, we enjoyed the most spectacular lunch in a trabocchi. These authentic and charming seafood restaurants are found dotted all along the Trabocchi coast in Italy and as the fishermen pull right up to the restaurants with their daily catches, the food couldn’t be more fresh and more incredible. We had an 8 course meal, a truly authentic experience that you will never find in the tourist hot spots.
