A day we created to give our travel entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn, ask questions, challenge their thinking, make stronger connections and walk away with ideas they can actually apply to their businesses.

And this year, we have an incredible group joining us.

Ryan McElroy, Founder of Travel Agency Tribes and industry keynote speaker, will bring his perspective on the travel industry, entrepreneurship and what it takes to think bigger and build smarter.

Emma Madsen of TRAVELSAVERS Canada will share the value of connection, partnership and the opportunities that come from building strong industry relationships.

Celis., Founder of Celis Advisory, will take us behind the systems that make businesses work, how simplifying operations and creating better processes can give business owners more room to grow.

And Patel, Owner of International, will bring his expertise in the business of air travel, industry partnerships and the opportunities that come from understanding what happens behind the ticket.

Tisson Travel Group Business Day has never been about sitting in a room and listening to speakers. It is about creating space for conversations that make us think differently about our businesses.

Today I had the pleasure of attending the Air Canada Executive Travel & Corporate Meeting Planners Luncheon at the beautiful Palliser in Calgary with some Tisson colleagues.

One of the things I continue to value as a business owner is the opportunity to be in local events, connecting with industry leaders, strengthening relationships, learning what is happening within corporate and executive travel, and having meaningful conversations about tourism in our area.

As Tisson Travel Group continues to grow, so does the importance of building strong relationships with the partners who help us deliver exceptional experiences for our advisors and their clients.

I’m also incredibly proud to represent a Calgary based, owned travel company at events like this. There is tremendous value in showing up, participating in the conversation, and continuing to build Tisson’s presence within both our local business community and the broader travel industry.

Thank you to for bringing together such a great group of travel and meeting professionals today, and to the Fairmont Palliser for a beautiful setting.

Meet Debbie with , one of the newest Travel Professionals to join our Tisson team!

Based in the area, Debbie specializes in helping clients escape the cold for sun, surf and sand, with Mexico being a big part of her business. She’s also launching Beyond the Boards Celebrity Travel, offering hosted vacations that bring travellers together with players and other sports and entertainment personalities.

Her favourite travel experience so far was exploring ’s Dalmatian Coast by , and next up she’s heading to with her son. She’s a window-seat person, always wanting that first view of the destination, and when she’s not planning travel, her four dogs keep her plenty busy!
