When I did get the chance to go somewhere, I had to make the decision to either stay at home and wait until my kids were "older", or, take them with my husband and me when a trip presented itself. I closed my eyes, wished for the best and jumped at the chance to go with our kids along for the ride, hoping I wouldn't regret my decision. It's been almost 10 years now since I've made that decision and we've been travelling since our oldest was 6 months old. We have been lucky enough to travel to many places across Canada (from the east coast to the west coast), all of the islands of Hawaii, the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Disneyland, San Francisco, San Diego, Disney World, a Disney Cruise, a Caribbean cruise, London, Paris, Istanbul, Peru, Greece, Croatia, and many places throughout Italy (including the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence and Venice), Portugal and Spain. Most recently we travelled as a family to Belize! Planes, Trains & Kids Travel was created out of my love for researching the next great destination, planning our daily itinerary, and continuing to explore the amazing world around us! Yes, travelling long distances on planes, trains or cruises with your kids may seem intimidating, but I've learned how to make it completely doable. Travelling has become my passion, and I'm excited to help you find the perfect place for you and your family. I want you to not only arrive at your next destination, but to experience it with your kids, whether it's at an all-inclusive beach vacation, a Caribbean cruise, a European adventure, or someplace more unique and exotic.
