2) Professionalism: To be taken seriously, you must act seriously. This includes a consistent demeanour that properly represents a brand. While many representatives have resorted to shorts and a golf shirt, do not be surprised to find Stylia representatives ensure that are properly dressed for the occasion. Don’t be surprised to find us dressed in a fine Italian suit on even the most basic sales call! We are the face to your brand, and want to ensure that we are presenting your brand as effectively as possible. In addition, we present ourselves as your brands representative, not as a “Stylia Representative;” we have you and your company always top of mind!

3) Rapport: All levels of Stylia are consistently striving to ensure a deep, close one on one rapport with every level an account. We treat everyone equally, and value the long-term relationships that we develop over time. This rapport is developed by something simple as wishing someone “Happy Birthday”, having lunch, a round of golf, or any opportunity to dive deeper into one’s personal life. In our experience, developing the rapport is crucial for long-term success and is often leveraged when “the good time’s get bad” to continue volume and profitability through partnership.

Supply Chain Management: Managing inventory as tightly as possible is crucial in cost management. We work in tandem with retailers to ensure that manufacturer and distributor 30/60/90 day turns are being met wherever possible by supplying a regular forecast upon request that is created in conjunction with the distribution channel. Stylia has the ability to carry minimal inventory, and may opt to carry your inventory from time to time where it is justifiable. Builder Direct Selling: At Stylia, we believe that you should stick to what you know best. If you are a manufacturer, than stick to manufacturing, if you are teaching, than stick to teaching, if you are a retailer, than stick to retailing. However, we also believe that the brands we represent should also be properly represented in the market to maximize every opportunity. Our team not only looks for the opportunity to ensure that your brand has every opportunity to be represented for large opportunities where a builder is seeking to make a large opportunity buy. Stylia Sales & Marketing may choose to take upon itself to bid on projects across the globe where your brand may be an appropriate fit. We have already networked with some key builders, and will continue to look for these opportunities as they arise. We also utilize on-line bidding sites where these projects may be listed to the public. Merchandising: Product placement and appeal can be important influencers during the consideration of a consumer during a time of sale. We work closely with store managers and store merchandisers at retail to ensure that the product is properly placed to appeal to the potential customer wherever possible. This includes, but not limited to, live interactive displays, information or POP properly available, live in store demonstrations, and even ensuring that the retailer has sufficient stock on hand. We have separate contracts available to you that specialize on an event by event basis to showcase your products at retail, at trade shows or any other opportunity that provides the opportunity for you to stand out from the rest of your competition. Rebate & Sales Associate Incentive Fulfilment: We are in the midst of developing a full on-line system for sales associate “spiff” redemption, and on-line rebate fulfilment. Rebates fulfilment can be customized towards consumers, or for your accounts that have trade program management or require redemption. Our on-line system is simple and secure. All claims are checked and double checked for fraudulence or inaccuracies.

I am pleased to announce that Stylia Sales & Marketing Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with Avanti Sleep / Matelas Avanti Inc., a 100% Canadian, family-owned mattress manufacturer based in Saint-Narcisse, Quebec.

This collaboration brings together two companies committed to quality, reliability, and independence in the sleep industry.

Stylia Sales & Marketing is a brand agency for consumer goods and commercial products. We act as representatives between distributors/manufacturers to retailers throughout Canada. We work with large national accounts, independents and Regional Retailers throughout Canada in Consumer Goods.

The Role. Regional Trainer & Merchandiser.

Location: Okanagan, Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton. Sales territories and responsibilities vary by brand and location.

Job Summary: The company is looking for a qualified candidate to assist in in store training and merchandising. Candidates based in Alberta or Coastal British Columbia are preferred, however those based in other locations in Western Canada will be also be seriously considered. The position is a permanent full time position working with Stylia on a full time. The Trainer/Merchandiser will travel the territory, visiting retail outlets, to provide product training, and other services and communication, and to optimize the sales of Stylia brands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide product training to sales associates, dealer management & account principals. This may be delivered in one-to-one or group sessions.
• Develop and execute online training webinars.
• Participate in dealer events, such as private sales and major weekend promotions, to support sales associates in the sale of company brands.
• Deliver and place signage and sales literature to retail locations, as required.
• Work with dealers to improve the company’s displays and floor position.
• Communicate (and reinforce prior communication) related to new models and promotions.
• Work in conjunction with Stylia management to ensure the dealer carries adequate inventory to optimize sales.
• Submit daily/weekly call reports as required by Stylia.
• Depending on the background of the candidate, some sales activities (ie. new account prospecting) may be delegated.
• Ideally, candidates will have retail sales experience in major appliances and/or bedding.
• Post-secondary education in business or economics or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Candidates must possess a suitable vehicle and a current driver’s license; car allowance and fuel reimbursement will be provided.
• Flexibility to work on evenings and weekends, as required.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative and energetic, with a can-do attitude.
• Strong self-motivator, able to work in a fast paced business with an entrepreneurial attitude.

Experience, Education, & Skills:
• Ideally, candidates will have retail sales experience in major appliances and/or bedding.
• Post-secondary education in business or economics.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Candidates must possess a suitable vehicle and a current driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work on evenings and weekends, as required.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative and energetic, with a can-do attitude.
• Strong self-motivator, able to work in a fast paced business with an entrepreneurial attitude.
