Han and I first met over 10 years ago in Suzhou, when we were both working for the same education company in China.

Fast forward to 2026, and a mutual friend reconnected us after learning that we’d both set up shop in the outdoor recreation & touring space. One in Calgary, one in Beijing.

Numerous long-distance phone calls then followed, and by late September we were delivering a completely bespoke 9-day itinerary throughout the Canadian Rockies, hosting a wonderful group of guests from all over China ⛰️

🥾 65+ kilometres hiked
🚐 5+ parks explored
🍷 1 winery toured
🐻 2 bears encountered (from a distance!)
🧊 1 dip in Emerald Lake
🥓 1 fitting farewell at Calgary’s finest Korean BBQ

This trip was a MOLARI first, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to bring it to life with. Both perfectly aligned, adventure inclined, and committed to crafting unique and unforgettable experiences. Planning is already underway for next year! 🎉

A great stop for something a little different, just over half an hour from Banff 🎨⛰️

There’s an awesome amount of variety, colour, and history packed into just 2km in and out - plus ample opportunity to hone one’s tracking skills 🐾

Something a little different for Day 2 of 3 with a group visiting over the weekend from Texas 🥾⛰️

Our most hike-heavy day saw us tackle two Kananaskis trails, with a quiet, wooded picnic to refuel in between.

Weather, scenery, and trail conditions all flawless ✨

And though we saw clues, we did not see the actual momma and cub that a few other hikers told us about at the lake 🐻
