For years, I've followed the announcements from home, refreshing social media, watching livestreams, and wishing I could be there. Now somehow, I'M the one getting to experience it in person with the lovely
If you've never heard of D23, it's Disney's official fan convention where they reveal major news about Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, movies, shows, attractions, and future projects. Some of Disney's biggest announcements over the years were first unveiled at D23.
As a travel advisor who specializes in Disney destinations and a true Disney Adult, this is one of the most exciting places I could possibly be. Not only will I get to experience the event firsthand, but I'll also be among the first to hear about upcoming Disney news that could shape future vacations.
Will I be normal about it?
Absolutely not.
Expect live updates, questionable financial decisions, and an unhealthy amount of excitement and probably a lot of happy tears over announcements that won't happen for another five years.
This has been a bucket list item since its inception in 2009, and I genuinely can't believe it's finally happening.
