So excited for this weekend. It's Streetsville Bread and Honey Festival, an annual tradition for us! Our second favourite thing to travelling is attending Festivals. Port Credit's waterfront festival was always our favourite (how could it not be - it was 10 minutes from home! So said it's not around anymore) but the Bread and Honey festival is a close second.

Throwback Thursday!

I woke up this morning and must have dreamt about vacations because there's so many memories going through my mind about the fabulous vacations Meigan and I have done, including her first trip when she was 3 to Jamaica! And then we discovered Walt Disney World when she was 4 and it became an annual vacation. So many great memories there! We've also travelled a fair bit within Canada. We love going to a new city (or an old favourite - we've been to Ottawa several times) and just wandering and exploring! And next year we're going to Europe!

And of course, wherever we go trying new foods is a major objective! Meigan's never been a picky eater and I think exposing her to so many different types of food when she was young played a bit part in that. Or I just got lucky. :)

What's most important to you when you're booking a cruise. Is it the itinerary? Is it the ship's amenities? Is it the food? NGL, the food is pretty important to us but given how active we like to be I'd say the ship's amenities is #1 for us.

Have you stayed yet at Universal's Grand Helios Hotel! We LOVED it here so much! Beautiful hotel and rooms and you just walk out the door and you're in Universal's Epic Universe! When we first booked it I told Meigan this would be a one time thing (it is a bit pricy!) but now I can't imagine staying anywhere else!
