Another amazing morning on the water here in Campbell River, the Chinook salmon fishing is off the charts this season. Patrick, Colton and Keelan are showing off their catch. The action was fast and furious. See you again soon gentleman

We have another generation of keen fishers. Matteo and Alyssa showed true west coast spirit today, fighting a bunch of Chinooks and they choose a few for the BBQ. Well done kids. We’ll see you next year.

It would be an understatement to say they the opening day of Chinook season was a success. Even with the increased traffic on the water, the fishing is amazing. 2 hours fishing, a dozen fish to the boat and we choose 4 beauties for the BBQ. Sandie is proudly displaying her gorgeous Chinook salmon. The ladies always land the big ones??
