This was an awesome hunt. The last day, and the last minute ended with a big bull moose on the Kainai, and Mr. Emerson took his shot at 30 yd with a bow, and then the fun began. We were tracking until dark with the sound of wolves in the background, and a winter storm. Life is good.

When my pops texted us that he had a bull on the ground, my eyes filled with tears. He has come home empty handed for several years on our archery elk hunts...not this time though 🤗 We were in the middle of trying to fill my tag (had a couple stalks under the belt already), and it just didn’t feel right to miss these moments with him so we booked it his way. I don’t know how many more years I’ll get to do this with my old man, but I’m soaking up what I can. This is absolutely a bull of a lifetime & he is so deserving. Couldn’t imagine wrapping up a trip any other way. THIS IS WHAT HUNTING IS ABOUT! Thank you God!!! 🙌🏻 // pc:
