🇮🇹 Our next stop…Cinque Terre!

We made La Spezia our home base, which turned out to be such an easy way to explore Cinque Terre, just hop on the train each day and within minutes you’re in one of the villages.

We visited 3 of the 5 towns; Riomaggiore, Manarola and Monterosso. Each had its own charm. Colourful Riomaggiore, picture-perfect Manarola and seaside Monterosso, where we enjoyed a little beach time with our grandson.

There was lots of wandering, beautiful coastal views and, of course, plenty of fresh seafood!

Another beautiful part of Italy checked off the list.

🇮🇹 5 Nights in Rome. La Dolce Vita!

What an incredible start to our Italian adventure! We’ve spent the past five nights exploring the history, beauty, food and energy that make Rome one of my favourite cities.

From standing inside the iconic Colosseum, walking through Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, and taking in the beauty of the Vatican, to wandering the charming streets of Trastevere, visiting the Spanish Steps and soaking up the atmosphere in Piazza Navona, Rome has certainly kept us busy!

And of course, you can’t experience Rome without experiencing the food. Lots of incredible Roman dishes, including two of my favourites; Amatriciana and Carbonara along with plenty of gelato!

One of the things I love most about travelling through Italy is experiencing each destination firsthand. It gives me so many new ideas, recommendations and little tips to bring home to my clients.

Our five nights in Rome are coming to an end, but our Italian adventure is just getting started.

🇮🇹 OUT OF OFFICE — ITALY BOUND! ✈️

From August 25 – September 18, I’ll be trading my desk for a little Italian adventure! 🇮🇹❤️

I’m so excited to be heading back to one of my favourite places in the world and this time exploring new regions of Italy I haven’t had the chance to experience before, plus visiting a few favourites as well as some family, too!

As a Travel Advisor, there’s nothing quite like experiencing a destination firsthand. I’ll be taking it all in and the little details that help me create even better trips for my clients.
