Escape to the Boathouse
The Space
This cozy cottage/camp is located 1 hour north of Sudbury, Ontario. It is accessed by a 10-minute boat ride (included in rental price). If you are looking for a place to relax on a crystal-clear lake front this is for you. The camp is ideal for a family or couples. Sleeps 9 people comfortably.
The rental includes access to an entire camp which includes 3+1 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 1 single over double bunk bed, one double bed, futon), open concept kitchen, dining and family room with indoor plumbing (septic) and electricity. Kitchen opens up to a 3-season enclosed porch for watching the sun set, reading a book or savouring a glass of wine.
The outside boasts a huge water front with access to a shallow sandy bottom swimming area and diving board off the main dock. A paddle boat and other water activities are available by request. Additionally, there is a wood burning sauna building that houses the indoor shower and washer and dryer. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the large outdoor fireplace.
Guest access
The property’s owners have their camp next door. Renters have access to their own private dock, water access, camp, sauna building, and outdoor fireplace. There is a lot of privacy between both properties.
A shuttle boat ride will be provided to renters upon arrival and departure. All guests must arrive at the same pre-determined time for arrival. Departure will be at noon on the final day. Additional transportation available at an additional cost and upon request. A boat will be available for emergency use only. Renters will require a boat license prior to arrival.
There is a parking space available at the public landing for any guests.

Weekly rentals are preferable with longer rentals available. Rates start at $1850 a week. Available between May Long weekend and October Long weekend.
Additional required costs:
Damage deposit of $250 or 10% of the rental fee, whichever is greater.
Cleaning fee included if camp is left tidy and up to $500 if not.
Tidy means: floor clean of debris, garbage collected and placed in appropriate designated container. No dirty dishes. Property is clean and free of any garbage or recycling including empty alcohol containers. Please treat our property as if it was your own. The lake is very clean please keep it that way.

We want you and your family to feel at home. Please let us know in advance if you require anything special and we can try to accommodate.
Please note there is no full-service store on this lake. There are some items that can be purchased if available such as ice and select food items.
Additional firewood can be purchased upon request for a fee.

Swimming, water activities or any other activities guest choose to partake in while renting the camp are at their own risk and the owners do not assume any legal or personal liability or risk.
There is no good cellular service on this property.
