Half a million rounds don’t happen on their own. 👏

They happen because of their hard work. Keeping the greens healthy, mowing fairways, fixing equipment, running the pro shops, serving meals and making sure golfers have a great day.

More than 600 people work in PEI’s golf industry each season. Their work brings visitors to the Island and keeps them coming back.

And that work adds up. Golf contributes $107 million to PEI’s economy, supports more than 1,800 jobs across the Island and generates $26 million in tax revenue to help fund schools, health care and public services.

That’s a huge contribution from a small Island. And the people who make it happen deserve the recognition.

Jen has been helping golfers plan their PEI vacations through Golf PEI for the past 16 years, but hospitality has been part of her life for even longer.

Growing up, her family owned a bed and breakfast, where she learned early on that great customer service can make all the difference.

Jen loves helping golfers plan their PEI vacations, but the best part is hearing from them afterwards and knowing they had an unforgettable experience. 💙

Her advice for anyone considering a career in the golf industry? Love what you do and have fun. If you're enjoying yourself, the people you're helping will too.

And if you're planning a golf trip to PEI, Jen highly recommends making time for the beaches too. After all, you can't really get lost on PEI... you'll always end up at the water. 😉

On Thursday, October 8, we'll celebrate Jen and the many Islanders who help make PEI Canada's Golf Island. 🇨🇦
