Today is the second day of sessions at our "Leading the Way" conference with The Travel Agent Next Door!

Today we:

🎥 Had presentations from 1️⃣6️⃣ travel partners 🤯
🙋‍♀️ Participated in a Think Tank session
📌 Spent time learning sales skills with a panel & a presentation
💻 Learned about the use of Artificial Intelligence in our industry
🇨🇮 Met with our partner Royal Irish Tours at lunch
🥂 Met with reps from Oceania Cruises and Playa Hotels & Resorts

And the day's not over, yet!

We're going to The Haven Resorts & Spas' Haven Riviera Cancun for supper with Transat! 🌟

AND it all starts again tomorrow at 7:15 am!

Today, I was lucky enough to spend some time with the Holland College Tourism and Travel Management second year students who graduate very soon. 🎓

I talked about my winding career path 🎢 and how I landed here. I also tried to bust some myths that they are afraid of:

🫣 what if I don't know enough
💰 I don't want to be a "sales" person
💪 what if I don't get my dream job to start
👋 how will I find clients

If you were talking to soon-to-be-graduates in our industry, what would you tell them? (They're all going to read this post, so make it good!) 🙏
