*TRAIL CLOSURES*

Woodlot, Maple Ridge

Effective Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, the BCIT Forest Society, which holds the forestry license for Woodlot 0007, requests that all riding within the Woodlot cease until fire hazard decreases and we receive rain.

We know that everyone values the forests & mountains & amazing recreational trails and ask all to respect the closures and be cautious when enjoying the areas that presently remain open. Thank you for your cooperation!

*TRAIL CLOSURES*

Effective Tuesday, July 27th, the Mission Fire Chief has ordered all trails at Red & Bear mountains in Mission to be closed for all use as fire hazard is EXTREME.

This applies to all activities, including hiking, running, biking, trail work, horse riding, and all motorized traffic on and off road.

Fire risk has risen to extreme and we all need to be very cautious. Thank you for respecting the closures.

You may have noticed I have done a bit of an update on this page. After 16 years working at Valley Toyota, it was time to find a new career!

Along with my sister, Jennifer, my brother-in-law, Mike, we have started a new company called ProMentality Adventure & Tourism. Initially, we will be offering Mountain Bike Coaching and Guiding for Beginner and Intermediate riders, as well as Kid's Summer and after-school camps. There will also be guided hiking options with much more to come as we get everything established.

Today Toyota announced that its Princeton, Indiana plant will build two new eight-passenger EV crossovers. One will wear a Lexus badge, the other will be a Toyota. This new car will be the first Lexus vehicle produced at the plant.
