On this day in history, Pic-a-pop opens in Claresholm! Located where the Lazy J Motel is today, the shop was managed by Mrs. Arnold Stange and Mrs. Herbert Stange. The popular self-service store let customers mix and match their own crates from dozens of colorful soda flavors.
