Looking for a quieter side of Wells Gray Country? Caligata Lake Provincial Park is a beautiful spot to add to your Clearwater adventure. Located beneath Raft Mountain, this small alpine lake sits within a unique landscape of wetlands, forest and mountain scenery.

Getting there takes a little extra planning, with access via a logging road and a trail into the park, but it’s a chance to experience a lesser known corner of the region.

Planning a visit? Check current access conditions and come prepared, as there is no cell service.

And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Visitor Centre season!

The Wells Gray Park Visitor Information Centre has officially closed its doors for the season, but we’re still here to help you plan your Clearwater and Wells Gray adventures! 🌲

Whether you’re planning a fall getaway, a winter adventure, or looking ahead to 2027, our visitor information services remain available year-round.
